Healing & Recovery
The Resiliency Center
The Safehope Resiliency Center was originally established to provide advocacy and therapy services to those affected directly or indirectly by the multi-site mass shooting event in Hesston and rural Newton. The Resiliency Center staff continues to serve those affected by that tragedy, while also prepared to serve victims of other community violence events. The physical and emotional effects of violent trauma can last long after the event has passed. There is no timeline for recovery after a tragic event or loss.
